The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Julie and I have been living in PA since 1999 and loving it. The Penn State experience back in 1971/1972 was the beginning of my Air Force (AF) career; a big stepping stone to a fond 20 years with Air Weather Service as a forecaster, instructor, commander of a weather unit and staff officer for Military Airlift Command. Without the educational experience and diploma from PSU, the experience with the AF would not have happened. Now I use my further educational expertise with Commonwealth Court of PA as an appellate clerk. Julie followed me with my 20-year AF career and since retirement in 1991, I have held a variety of jobs in a variety of locations through the present location and vocation as I follow her in her career devoted to the church. I am proud of my accomplishments and am equally proud of Julie's as a pastor in the Lutheran tradition; both in Illinois and now in Pennsylvania. She and I use our weather expertise to try to outguess the weather professionals in the local and national weather forecasts.
